Mr. Edgar A. Larsen, 86, formally of Kirbyville, MO died Friday, March 30, 2018 in Katy, TX.
A memorial service will be scheduled for this summer announced at later date in the Kissee-Schofield-Eakins Funeral Home, Forsyth.

Edgar Allen Larsen was born, Tuesday, March 1, 1932 in Elbert, CO to Robert and Ruby (Wolfe) Larsen. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1952 and served with the HQ Battery 49th Field Artillery Battalion stationed in Korea. He was honorably discharged with the rank of Sergeant in 1960. He was awarded the Korean Service Medal with two bronze stars, United Nations Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal and Good Conduct Medal. After his military service, Edgar moved back home to Colorado and during that time he met Nola Wolfe. They were married on June 16, 1961 in Castle Rock, CO. Edgar worked for Continental Airlines for twenty-seven years in Houston, TX and retired from the airlines in 1985. He and Nola moved to Kirbyville, MO shortly after. Edgar also worked for the Branson Inn for several years before officially retiring from the work force. His wife Nola died in 2014 in Forsyth, MO.

He loved fishing, woodworking and just piddling in his garage.

He is survived by his daughter, Marianne McGee and husband, John of Katy, TX; two granddaughters, Paige and Katie McGee also of Katy, TX.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and wife Nola Larsen.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Kissee-Schofield-Eakins Funeral Home, Forsyth, MO.
