Eddie Ray Miskell, 72, of Forsyth died Friday, February 2, 2018 in the Shepherd of the Hills Living Center, Branson. Services will be private.

Eddie Ray Miskell was born Thursday, April 19, 1945 in Houston, TX to Aubrey and Florence (Boykin) Miskell. He graduated from the Smiley High School in Houston and later attended college for drafting. Eddie owned his own home construction company in TX. He married his childhood friend, Cherry Drake in 1989. He retired from home construction in 1995. Eddie and Cherry moved to Forsyth in 2005 where he worked in maintenance for a brief time.

Eddie was known for restoring classic cars and he enjoyed woodworking, making furniture and tables. He also tinkered with motors and worked around the house. Eddie was a charity unto himself. He was honest, giving and generous to a fault and would help anyone in need. Eddie was hardworking and was recognized as never telling a lie. He was very 'down to earth,' loving and caring. He was of the Pentecostal Faith.

He is survived by his wife, Cherry of Forsyth; ten children; a sister, Mary Fuller and husband, Leroy of Blanco, TX and many grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, two brothers and a sister.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Kissee-Schofield-Eakins Funeral Home, Forsyth, MO.
